Stantil Engineering Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned company specialising in the development, design, manufacture and supply of quality engineered equipment. Based in Western Australia, Stantil is the licensed supplier of the well established Ansac brand of thermal processing equipment, built to specification for the Australian and global mining industry. Cornerstone products include carbon regeneration kilns, elution heaters, tilting furnaces and calcining ovens for the gold industry. Equipment for other mineral processing applications include indirect fired horizontal rotary calciners and dryers, paddle mixers and related materials handling equipment.
Ansac
Ansac Pty Ltd was established in 1988 and has been servicing customers in the industrial and mining market, with over 300 equipment installations in more than 50 countries. Ansac’s equipment was always underpinned by long-standing relationships with customers, to offer leading edge products with comprehensive service and support. The primary focus was on capital equipment for thermal processing including carbon regeneration, concentrate drying, calcinations and digestion using proprietary designs. This extended to materials handling and specialised industrial machinery manufacture. Over time the Ansac brand became the industry standard for the global gold industry due to the robust, compact and efficient equipment design.
For a number of years the Ansac brand was administered by Anergy which was co-currently developing technologies in the waste to energy sector. As this industry rapidly grew, less time and attention was available for the traditional Ansac clients. The company was also changing its focus to overseas opportunities and ultimately moved away from the Bunbury location in 2020.
At this time, Stantil Engineering was established by Charlie Martella, to reinvigorate the Bunbury workshop premises in preference to letting it close. As the original founder of Ansac Pty Ltd, Charlie was keen to keep the workshop operational. The initial focus was on manufacturing, particularly Ansac equipment for the clients of Anergy.
In early 2021, Stantil Engineering formally took over the exclusive licence to supply the Ansac brand of equipment including the provision of spare parts and equipment for all previous Ansac clients. Over the past few years, despite the added external challenges of global supply chain and labour shortages, Stantil Engineering has worked to grow the small business into a vibrant and strong position in industry.
It is the aim of Stantil Engineering to supply quality equipment with ongoing after sales support adhering to the high standards and expectations of industry.
